The Challenge

Certified Mining Services (CMS) is well known across the mining and civil industries for quality, precision, and reliability. But while their reputation had continued to grow, their brand and website had not kept pace.


The existing visual identity — built around a dated red-and-black palette — no longer reflected the scale or professionalism of the operation CMS had become. Their website, while functional, offered little visual impact and limited clarity around their full suite of services.


As CMS expanded into new areas such as welding and fabrication, auto-electrical, fire suppression, and transport, their brand needed to evolve to match. It wasn’t enough to simply tell people what they did — the brand needed to show it, clearly and confidently.

We redefined the visual foundation of the brand with a bold new black-and-yellow colour palette — a confident departure from the old red, instantly aligning with the strength, precision, and safety associated with the mining sector. The updated logo and typography bring balance and professionalism, ensuring CMS looks as capable as it performs.

The new CMS website is a complete digital overhaul: mobile-responsive, easy to navigate, and visually striking.


It now highlights CMS’s full-service capability — from component rebuilding through to fabrication, transport, and fire suppression — with strong visuals and concise, customer-focused messaging. The design and layout make it easy for visitors to understand the breadth of expertise CMS delivers, while reinforcing their commitment to quality and reliability.


3. A capability statement to match
